IB Atelier
IB Atelier is the centre for architecture and design within IB.
Design as nucleus and guidance in every project defines the difference between a building and architecture. Every architectural project (even unbuilt ones) contributes to the identity and the (self-) conception of IB.
The Atelier ensures the significance of architecture within IB. A space for critical discussions and project experiments. We continue to develop sustainable design strategies leading the digital transformation of our field, creating architecture that is durable and goes beyond current trends.
Working as a Network – Knowledge as focus
As a national network of locally anchored hubs we combine local knowledge with the strength of a national and international active architecture firm. This agile network adapts to each architectural challenge, creating the appropriate team and setup for the best possible result.This is our base for new and innovative design.
Forum
The design leaders of the Atelier Network meet regularly for an open exchange, enhancement of their competence and the collection of ideas. We develop strategies for projects and the design development of IB. We share one vision. This is what we call the Forum.

Achievements
Achievements are the result of hard work, high competence and unreserved focus on one specific project. We believe in architectural competitions as method to explore our way of thinking. The Atelier has received several prizes and awards in the first year after its formation. As a strong and agile network we are working hard to continue this development.
