We are delighted to announce the 1st place in the study commission «pedestrian/bicycle connection district 4-5» in Zurich!
The evaluation committee unanimously recommended the «Landscape Bridge» project of the team schlaich bergermann partner gmbh Stuttgart, Emch+Berger AG Bern, Itten+Brechbühl AG and ghiggi paesaggi gmbh for implementation: «The elegant bridge is innovative and successful in terms of urban space. Its construction is optimally adapted to its function as a pedestrian and bicycle connection. The green strip, up to 1.5 metres wide, will make passing the bridge pleasant and cool it down in hot summers.» (Civil Engineering Office Director Simone Rangosch)
