pRED wins the «Lean Construction Project Award»

The Lean@pRED Center project team, which was set up specifically for the project, received the GLCI's «Lean Construction Project Award» in Frankfurt at the end of October.

The GLCI is the leading platform for the lean construction community in German-speaking countries and aims to promote the use of the principles and methods of lean construction and to contribute to the transformation of the construction and real estate industry towards more user-centricity, efficiency and resource conservation.

The state-of-the-art laboratory and office building «pRED Innovation Center» of F.Hoffmann-La Roche AG in Basel is scheduled for completion at the end of 2023. The planned new construction of the research centre is a building complex consisting of four main buildings, Building 4 to Building 7, a common basement box and connecting buildings. Building 4 houses the Convention Centre, auditoriums and training rooms, while Buildings 5-7 house the Innovation Centre, offices, laboratories and meeting areas. The buildings are staggered in height up to the tallest building, Building 7, which is approx. 114 m high.
