The new main at the An der Aa site in Zug has reached an important milestone with the groundbreaking ceremony.
Commissioned by Losinger Marazzi, we has been involved since the building permit phase and are responsible for the planning and delivery of the new building.
The project forms part of a broader redevelopment of the existing operations yard into a mixed-use urban district. In addition to the main depot, a second new building is being developed for Zug’s emergency services and the cantonal administration. A later phase will add around 160 apartments, together with complementary service uses.
Designed for the needs of a modern public transport operator, the main depot prioritizes robust construction, efficient operational flows, adaptable spaces, and durable technical systems.
We attended the groundbreaking ceremony together with representatives of the following companies:
Losinger Marazzi: design-build contractor for the project
PZM Zürich: building services engineers
Fiechter & Salzmann, Zug: architects for the new building housing the emergency services and the cantonal administration
