Groundbreaking for new building AHBasel
After a successful planning phase, we've celebrated the groundbreaking ceremony for the new AHBasel building on Tuesday by invitation of the AHBasel Foundation, together with personalities of local politics, planners, participants, and our project team.
The realization phase is now starting, and the new building can be put into operation in spring 2026.
The start of construction was accompanied by a speech on the architecture by our general project manager Volker Homeier, speeches by Foundation Board member Enrico Rosa, and a welcome address by Conradin Cramer, member of the Basel cantonal government.
We are looking forward to another exciting project in Basel-Stadt. As general planner, IB is responsible for both the architecture and construction management.
