Tilia Tower wins the Prix de l’immobilier romand in the Rental Housing category. The jury selected Tilia Tower for its innovative reinterpretation of the urban high-rise. Despite its height of 85 meters, the project creates a genuine piece of city and retains a distinctly human scale.
Just weeks ahead of its official inauguration, Tilia Tower has already established itself as one of the new landmarks of western Lausanne. Through its distinctive architecture, mixed-use program, and contribution to the transformation of Prilly-Malley, it is helping shape a new identity for this rapidly growing district.
From a construction perspective, the use of a hybrid timber-concrete structure, extensive prefabrication, and BIM-based project management enabled a building process that was both fast and efficient, while maintaining full control throughout every phase of execution.
