Catharina Märk is the new Head of the Division Planning Switzerland
Catharina Märk has been Head of the division Planning Switzerland since March 2024 and in her new role is a member of IB's extended Executive Board.
Catharina joined IB as an architect in July 2019 after working in various architectural firms and graduating from the Accademia di architettura, Mendrisio. She has been a member of the site management at the Basel office since July 2023, where she heads the Planning department as an Associate Partner. Her projects include the Merck Lipid Expansion laboratory and research building in Schaffhausen and the Rank garage for the Basel public transport company's electric buses. She also led the project residential and care center Zum Lamm in Basel, a conversion and partial new construction in a listed building, completed in 2021.
