Second prize in the competition for the construction of a sports hall and school extension, Rain
For the project proposal "Tri Tra Trullala", our competition team was awarded second prize in the open architectural competition for the construction of a sports hall and school extension in the municipality of Rain. 38 offices took part.
According to the jury report, the ideas were convincing on the various architectural, urban planning and interior design levels. The proposal envisages a harmonious connection between the existing and new elements of the school complex. The new school building and the double gymnasium take up the basic shape of the existing building and, together with the adjacent Feldmatt school building, form an inviting courtyard. The school rooms are located in the smaller building, while the double gymnasium is housed in the larger one. Although they are organized separately from each other, they are visually connected.
