Publication of the Tourelle complex in AS Architecture Suisse

A recent article highlights the renovation of 415 apartments in the La Tourelle residential complex, built between 1965 and 1973 and now listed in the canton’s architectural inventory. Designed by our office, which also oversaw the architectural direction, the project successfully combines the preservation of modernist heritage with today’s standards for comfort, safety, and energy efficiency.

The work focused on façades, roofs, windows, balconies, and technical installations, while integrating sustainable solutions such as enhanced insulation, environmentally friendly materials, and soft mobility infrastructure (charging stations, car sharing, Mobility).

This exemplary project demonstrates how the demanding renovation of an iconic complex can improve residents’ quality of life, reduce CO₂ emissions, and enhance Geneva’s major architectural heritage.

A sustainable approach aiming for SNBS-Building certification, Gold distinction.
