Migros Vésenaz Reopens After Major Renovation
After a year of renovation work, Migros Vésenaz in Geneva has officially reopened with a ceremony attended by Grégory Décaillet, CEO of Migros Geneva Cooperative, Domenico Micale, Director of the Migros Sales Network, Rachel Humbert-Vuarchex, Project RMO, Carole Lapaire and Alexandra Rys from the municipality of Collonge-Bellerive, and Samy Khela, Head of Construction Management for IB Geneva.
As general planner and construction manager, IB supported this ambitious project, which included:
• full technical refurbishment and code compliance,
• energy efficiency upgrades,
• expansion of the retail space,
• creation of a new bakery,
• complete renovation of professional kitchens,
• renovation of the parking facility.
The transformation prioritized customer comfort, with optimized circulation, enhanced lighting, improved accessibility, and a redesigned signage system. New dining and relaxation areas further enhance the shopping experience.
Migros Vésenaz has become a modern, functional, and inviting destination—while preserving the identity and legacy of this iconic retail site.
