Inauguration of the building site and the artistic canvas for Vaudoise Assurances

After a successful planning phase, on Wednesday 26th of June we were able to celebrate an important milestone in the renovation of the @Vaudoise Assurances headquarters with the inauguration of the worksite, marked by the vernissage of Nigel Peake's monumental work On and Around.

The event was attended by the Irish-born artist, Catherine-Othenin Girard, art historian and consultant to the Vaudoise Artistic Commission, Jean-Daniel Laffely, CEO of Vaudoise, Nathalie Follonier, General Secretary and Chair of the Vaudoise Artistic Commission, as well as politicians and representatives of the institutions.

As general planners, we are delighted to be involved in this ambitious renovation of the Le Cèdre building, designed by Jean Tschumi in the 1950s and an emblematic part of Lausanne's landscape. The project involves transforming the interior layout to create more transparent, light-filled workspaces and improve employee comfort, while respecting Jean Tschumi's original work.

The subtlety of this project lies in the balance between ecological, well-being and heritage criteria. This approach has resulted in innovative solutions, where technological updates provide a new quality framework and evolving workspaces.
