On Thursday, June 19, 2025, the laying of the foundation stone for the future community center in Chernex (Montreux) marks a major milestone in the ambitious project led by the Eben-Hézer Foundation.
IB is acting as the general planner and is overseeing the construction of this community center, which will include a 43-bed nursing home, a 12-place temporary care unit, a 34-place daycare center, a pharmacy, and an underground parking facility with 90 spaces.
Located in the heart of the village, this intergenerational complex will provide a modern living and care environment tailored to the growing needs of an aging population. The entire project is based on sustainability standards, integrating solutions such as pellet heating, a heat pump, and a photovoltaic system.
This project stands as a fine example of architecture serving social cohesion and local well-being. Its prime location in the village center will offer a welcoming setting for residents, their families, and healthcare staff.
