Bern Building Culture 2024: Award for the Holligerhof 8

Conversion, redensification, replacement, thinking out of the genius loci, participation, acting in harmony with the cooperation between the client, interdisciplinary project team, authorities and users - for the jury of the award, which is presented every three years, these aspects are relevant for a high level of building culture. In fact, these terms precisely describe the challenges and solutions that characterized the Holligerhof 8 project - the exciting conversion and extension of a Chocolat Tobler AG warehouse building from the 1950s.
