Maaglive – Additional Value for Zürich West

Maaglive is a project on the Maag Areal near the Zürich Hardbrücke train station. It enhances today’s primary office use (for example in the Prime Tower) with residential, cultural and dining opportunities. The various activities, heavily attended by the public throughout the day, liven up the Maag Areal and create an enjoyable place in the middle of Zürich West where people like to be.

Maaglive consists of the residential tower, the cultural centre and Building K which will be landmark-protected in the future. The three buildings are arranged around a tree-lined community area which, together with other urban green space, will help to alleviate the summer heat in Zürich West. Maaglive also opens up the neighbourhood and offers new footpaths and bike trails.

We, as the contact architects in Zurich for Sauerbruch Hutton, are delighted to be part of the winning team and look forward to continue working with the project and support it.
