Olympic House wins two Architizer A+Awards

Olympic House, the new headquarters of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), is awarded the +Sustainability and +Stairs Architect A+Award in the category «Architecture and Sustainable Development» and «Architecture and Stairs».

The Olympic House has won the prize for «Concepts - Plus-Architecture +Sustainability». The office building was selected as the winner by both the jury and the online community in a public vote.

The Olympic House is one of the most sustainable office buildings in the world, having already received LEED Platinum with the highest score ever awarded (93 0f 100), the Swiss standard for sustainable building in Platinum and the Minergie P certification.

The project has been realized in a consortium with the Danish architectural firm 3XN, Copenhagen (DK) and Itten+Brechbühl AG.
