Transformation and renovation of Geneva-Cornavin Station
Geneva-Cornavin Station is one of the largest stations and railway hubs in Switzerland with more than 120,000 users per day. The project to transform and renovate this historical building was designed by the architectural practice IttenBrechbühl; the building was comprehensively restructured in order to adapt it to the current and future needs of Swiss Federal Railways (CFF). Opened last autumn after 4 years of work, Geneva-Cornavin Station has now become a real link in the heart of the city.
