Data protection

This data protection guideline gives information on what data are captured during your visit to these web pages and how we use these data. Some of these data which we save on our server are data which you have provided voluntarily by filling in forms, while other data are captured automatically. We do not capture any data from which the identity of individual visitors can be derived unless you yourself send us your personal details. Neither do we use any technical aids aimed at identifying visitors.

We reserve the right to change this guideline at any time. This data protection guideline does not form the basis for any contractual or any other formal legal relationship with or on behalf of any party.

Data automatically captured and saved

Like other companies, we too track the general usage of our web pages (measurement of request frequencies) in order to improve them for our visitors and adapt them to their needs. During your visit, we may also automatically capture the following data regarding your computer and your visit and we save these data on a temporary basis:

  • the domain and the host from which you are using the internet
  • if applicable, the internet address of the website from which you have arrived at our website via a link
  • date and time when connection with our web pages was established, the length of time spent there and which pages were visited
  • the internet protocol (IP) address of your computer
  • if applicable, the operating system and the browser software used on your computer

We also commission third parties to measure the request frequencies as described. By doing so, we obtain no information whatsoever about the identity of any user. We demand from any third parties whom we involve that they respect our data protection standards, transmit data in aggregated form, use the data captured for their intended purpose and subsequently destroy them.

Cookies

Some of our web pages may save certain information on visitors' computers called cookies. A cookie allocates an individual number to a visitor which has no meaning beyond the website making the allocation. Cookies supply information on how and when our web pages are visited and by how many visitors. This technology does not collect any identification data on individual visitors; this information, too, is available in aggregated form. The purpose of this technology and the information it provides is to help us to improve our web pages. Most internet browsers give the user the choice of rejecting all cookies or accepting them. Please note, however, that cookies may be necessary to enable you to use certain functions (when providing user-specific information, for example) which are offered on our web pages.

If you decide that you no longer wish to receive postal mail and/or emails from us, please inform us accordingly by email ((architects@ittenbrechbuehl.ch)). Please give your exact name and the email address concerned. We will make sure that your email address is deleted from our mailing list.

We only use your personal details for the purpose specified by you when sending your details. We do not disclose, sell or entrust personal details to other companies or institutions or swap them with other companies or institutions without informing you in advance and without your express agreement to such action. Exceptions only apply if we are legally obliged to disclose or transmit data or bound by a court order to do so.
